Overdue Post

So tomorrow will be our 99th day of school. I am so behind on sharing all the wonderful things happening in our classroom. I want to stop and take a moment to let you see a few.

We are in the midst of learning about polar habitats. We have been reading and watching some information on Brain Pop. Our next step this upcoming week will be to use our new Ipads to research and then write about two animals from two different polar habitats.

When we returned from break we did some New Year centers. We also wrote out goals. We will be stopping to track our progress as we move through this next quarter. It was a great time to reflect on the first half of year and think about ways to improve in this second half.








We have been working hard on addition and subtraction. There are many strategies to introduce and practice. Students are becoming much more proficient and are discovering the relationship between addition and subtraction.                    

There is so much more to tell. It will be my goal to share more frequently.
